Built from discipline, driven by instinct, and proven across borders.
The Foundation
Raised by an LAPD Sergeant | Los Angeles, California. Growing up as the son of a police sergeant taught me discipline before I ever set foot in a boardroom. The ocean taught me the rest — I've been surfing LA and Ventura County since I was a kid, and that same instinct to read the waves, stay calm under pressure, and commit fully has shaped everything I've built since.

The Contrarian Bet
Co-Founder & CEO, Unosquare. After working with large India-based technology firms, I saw what everyone else was missing — Latin America. In 2009, in the middle of a recession, I started Unosquare from a spare bedroom in Lincoln City, Oregon. No loans. Zero debt. Just a bet on a region the industry had overlooked and a belief that proximity, culture, and trust could outperform cost alone.

The Partnership
Co-Founded with Mario Di Vece | Guadalajara, Mexico. Every great company needs a great co-founder. Mario Di Vece was 20 years younger than me and the most intelligent, hardest-working engineer I had ever met. Together, a Mexican from Guadalajara and an American from Oregon built one of the most respected nearshore software companies in the Americas — 1,200 employees, seven countries, ten consecutive Inc. 5000 appearances.

The Alliance
Co-Founder, Nearshore Executive Alliance | Americas. Before nearshoring was a buzzword, I helped build the community around it. Alongside 60 nearshore IT executives across the Americas, I co-founded the Nearshore Executive Alliance — creating a space for leaders to share, learn, and raise the standard of the entire industry.

The Exit
Private Equity Partnership & Exit | In 2020 we partnered with Trivest, and the company nearly tripled. In 2025 we completed a successful exit to Ridgemont Equity Partners. From a spare bedroom to nearly $400 million in enterprise value — bootstrapped, debt-free, and built the right way.
